Job Description - Marketing Analyst

Job Summary:

The Marketing Analyst is responsible for designing and conducting marketing and sales funnel measurement and analysis. This role will own the creation and reporting of monthly KPIs and dashboards, as well as perform analysis and build processes that ensure best practices in marketing performance. The Analyst will be responsible for analyzing campaign effectiveness, sales enablement, and lead and demand generation across paid media, CRM and website analytics. This role will then present findings, insights, and trends to key stakeholders across the company to inform strategic business decisions. The ability to tell the story with data to diverse audiences is important in this role, as is working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple projects simultaneously.

 

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Build, develop, troubleshoot, and maintain various reports and dashboards utilizing Excel and Power BI.
  • Create weekly and monthly analytics, dashboards, and reports to track and communicate marketing and sales enablement performance.
  • Perform detailed analysis to support marketing initiatives (i.e. lead generation, ROI, brand awareness, etc.).
  • Identify trends and generate insights from CPC marketing and sales data to enhance marketing ROI and improve customer experience and loyalty.
  • Coordinate research insights including marketing industry reports, competitive brand intelligence, and various forms of primary research, including campaign testing.
  • Provide analysis for marketing forecasts and S&OP inputs.
  • Coordinate department and campaign budget development and reporting.
  • Develop customer and executive-ready presentations that tell the story behind the data; present analysis and findings to a variety of audiences.
  • Interact and manage use of non-CRM MarTech Stack for customer engagement & insights.
  • Contribute to customer acquisition strategy by participating in annual strategic and tactical planning processes.
  • Use proven and innovative analytic techniques to support marketing, measurement, and reporting efforts, including advising on campaign testing protocol.
  • Develop and maintain complex financial modeling tools and programs.
  • Effectively collaborate with cross-functional internal and external partners (Sales, Customer Service, CRM, Legal & Compliance, Finance, Agencies of Record) to generate effective insights and results.
  • Assist the technology team in designing applications that optimize marketing operations and enhance the scope of analysis.
  • Assist with project management for selected projects.
  • Adheres to all safety regulations.
  • Demonstrates support of CPC core values.
  • Performs other job duties as assigned to meet business needs.

Required Job Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency with advanced expertise in Excel.
  • Proven ability to learn new software platforms, test new ideas and consider new marketing methodologies.
  • Precision and accuracy; attention to detail and self-motivated.
  • Ability to work collaboratively to investigate problems and resolve issues .
  • Flexible and adaptable.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and changeable environment, balancing multiple priorities and ensuring high-quality outcomes.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Knowledge of Power BI, CRM, data extraction, and analysis.
  • Strong Microsoft Office experience.

 

Required Education and/or Experience:

  • 5-10 years’ marketing operations or analytics experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Marketing or Business Administration.
  • Experience with B2B business model with two-step distribution and direct channels, a plus.

 

Travel Requirements:

  • Less than 5%
