Patient Service Representative
Our well-established healthcare client seeks an empathetic, customer-focused Patient Service Representative to support their Boston, Massachusetts team on a contract basis. This is a great opportunity to join a mission-driven organization that aims to continuously build on its impact on the lives of those in the local community.

Qualified candidates must be available to work one of the following shifts:
Monday-Friday: 7am-3:30pm ET or 3pm-11:30pm ET. 
Saturday & Sunday: 7pm-7:30am ET. 
Monday-Thursday: 5am-1:30pm ET and Friday 6am-2:30pm ET.

Patient Service Representative Responsibilities

Greet, register, and check-in new patients.

Ensure proper documentation and PII is collected and entered into systems.

Respond to patient inquiries via phone, email, mail, and fax in a timely and empathetic manner.

Maintain patient records and collect payments.

Attend mandatory training sessions to maintain current knowledge of best practices and procedures.

Cross-train to provide additional support as needed.

Patient Service Representative Qualifications 

High school diploma or equivalent required.

1+ years of relevant experience within a clinical, medical, or insurance related environment.

Working knowledge of medical terminology with the ability to effectively relay medical information.

Proficient with MS Office Suite and able to learn new systems quickly.

Team-oriented with exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. 

Strong time-management skills with the ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task.

Ability to handle confidential information appropriately.

Salary: $18-$20/hr. (DOE)
