Position Summary:

The product and development team are instrumental in building the vision of Meison. The Product and Development Assistant will work closely with the design, buying and sourcing team to ensure the translation of the design intent into an approved sample meets the brand’s aesthetic, style and fit needs. The PD assistant will report to the Product Development Manager and support the team in executing the product life cycle through accurate data entry, timely follow-up and sample management.

Responsibilities :

• Support product research and identify vendors
• Ensure initial style is created within PLM and is updated throughout the season
• Facilitate proto and support PLM record
• Manage and track all meeting samples requested for area of responsibility
• Review tech packs
• Support communication of tech packs and requirements to vendors
• Facilitate salesman sample

Qualifications and Experience:

• Garment product and/or product development experience preferred
• Able to read and write in both English and Chinese
• Strong work ethic, commitment to excellence and high standards
• Organized with high attention to detail
• Dynamic analytical, problem solving and project management abilities with proven systems knowledge and expertise
• Expert knowledge and proficiency with MS Office applications, AI/Photoshop is a plus
