Production- Bag Handler

Job summary
The Bag Handler is responsible for loading and transferring bags of soiled linen. They assist with sort/count workstations and perform other tasks as needed. Physical requirements and attention to detail are necessary for this position.

Responsibilities
• Load bags of soiled linen onto rail/conveyor systems. • Transfer slings/bags/carts to other departments. • Assist sort/count workstations as needed. • Meet efficiency and safety standards. • Follow instructions from supervision. • Clean carts/bins and keep work area clean. • Work in other production positions as needed.
Requirements
• Recognize colors and sizes, count accurately. • Meet physical requirements of the job. • Comprehend and follow directions.
