Job Description - Quality/Customer Service Specialist

We're looking for a detail-oriented and dependable individual with excellent communication skills to join our team as a Quality/Customer Service Specialist. This role focuses on internal audits, providing support to managers, evaluating suppliers, overseeing the post-quality inspection process, and facilitating communication with internal suppliers. In this role, thriving in a fast-paced environment and regularly collaborating with multiple departments, both in the office and on the shop floor, is essential for ensuring quality standards are met and delivering exceptional customer service support. Responsibilities:
  • Process non-conformance reports promptly and accurately.
  • Evaluate suppliers using performance data to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Perform internal audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to quality procedures.
  • Answer business calls professionally and efficiently, addressing inquiries and resolving issues as needed.
  • Enter and process customer service orders, including warranty and field service requests, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment.
  • Locate and send project files to the Sales department as requested, maintaining organization and confidentiality.
  • File production orders accurately and maintain appropriate documentation.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in Quality Assurance and/or Customer Service roles preferred.
  • Familiarity with quality management systems and procedures is a plus.
  • Bachelor´s desired, but not required
Skills:
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills, with a focus on Excel, required.
  • Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to collaborate across departments.
