Job Description - Recruiter - Architecture & Engineering - Corporate Services Market

We are actively seeking a skilled recruitment professional to join our team and perform full-cycle recruitment for Gresham Smith. This position will serve as a key sourcing specialist and strategist while collaborating with our internal clients to support their workforce planning needs and staffing goals.


The successful candidate will have at least 3 years of recruitment experience with a primary focus on sourcing Architecture, Engineering, and Interior Design candidates in an effort to secure and hire the very best talent for our firm.


Responsibilities:

  • Executes sourcing and recruitment strategies by sourcing talent through various channels including internet search engines, referrals, cold-calling, job boards, networking with professional associations, social media, and databases.
  • Conducts resume screening, phone interviews, interview scheduling, and offer creation.
  • Schedules virtual or in-person interviews, makes travel arrangements, checks credentials and references, and schedules follow-up interviews with the firm's hiring teams.
  • Utilizes sourcing tools to build a database of viable candidates, reporting activity weekly.
  • Provides exceptional client service to candidates and hiring teams throughout the recruitment process.
  • Communicates frequently with internal clients and/or candidates to provide status updates.
  • Manages internal special projects as assigned.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Training/Systems:

  • Strong candidate prospecting and sourcing skills with an affinity for identifying successful hires for key positions.
  • Uses deductive reasoning and industry knowledge to ascertain a candidate's fit for the job requirements.
  • Provides exceptional client service to candidates and internal hiring teams through strong relationship-building skills.
  • Demonstrates a consultative and solution-oriented approach to conduct strategic workforce planning sessions.
  • Experience managing any type of recruitment programs similar to Diversity, Equity & Inclusion initiatives, Good Faith Effort outreach, University Recruitment, campus job fairs, and Employee Referral Programs.
  • Experience partnering with third-party staffing vendors and/or executive recruiters.
  • Must possess an excellent customer service 'can do' attitude.
  • Demonstrates strong work ethic and is reliable and detail-oriented.
Minimum Requirements:

  • An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Marketing/Communications, or related Architecture/Engineering curriculum is required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of third-party or corporate recruiting experience.
  • Strongly prefer experience in the Architecture/Engineering/Design/Construction Industry.
  • Prefer experience and demonstrated knowledge using: UKG Applicant Tracking Systems, CRMs, LinkedIn Premium, Boolean search methodologies, Sterling Talent Management System, and MS Teams & Office Suite.
