Requisition #: 72889 The Role at a Glance We are excited to bring on an Annuity Claims Examiner to join our Insurance Operations business in a work from home environment. Background Details As an Annuity Claims Examiner, you will review and process claims for both variable and fixed annuity products, ensuring claims are in good order and processed properly through a BOT when applicable. You will serve a point of contact for assigned claims guiding stakeholders through the claims process using excellent customer service and problem-solving skills to create a positive experience. This opportunity will provide insight into the life and annuity claims organization while gaining new skills through career pathing and development opportunities. What you'll be doing You will process claims for payment or denial in accordance with established procedures and guidelines, demonstrating flexibility and responsiveness to meet customer needs. You will act as a point of contact communicating through email/phone with stakeholders including internal partners, beneficiaries and agents to obtain necessary information related to the claim. You will provide superior customer service to stakeholders, maintaining a professional demeanor in all interactions. Identify, recommend and champion process improvements and organizational initiatives to positively influence the customer experience. What we're looking for Must-have experience (Required): High School Diploma or GED. 0 - 1+ Years of general experience - needs not be directly related to the position. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work with others in a fast-paced, team environment. Ability to maneuver through multiple systems/databases/platforms/software. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Ability to be adaptable/flexible as business needs change. Ability to work overtime as needed. Nice-to have Experience (Preferred): Insurance Operations knowledge and experience; annuity experience a plus. Research and data entry experience in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize workload and multi-task while maintaining strict attention to detail. Solid relationship management skills with internal and/or external clients (e.g. management, peers, colleagues, customers, etc.). What's it like to work here?
