Job Description:
Navient is seeking a Contact Center Assistant to join our team in New York City, New York. As a Contact Center Assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to clients via telephone, email, and other communication channels. You will assist customers with inquiries, provide information, resolve issues, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities: - Answer incoming calls and respond to customer inquiries - Assist customers with account management, billing questions, and general support - Process customer orders and requests - Provide technical support to customers in a professional and efficient manner - Escalate complex issues to the appropriate department for resolution - Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions - Follow up with customers to ensure their issues have been resolved to their satisfaction - Collaborate with team members to improve overall customer service experience
Requirements: - Minimum of 4 years of experience in a customer service or contact center role - Motivated and independent with the ability to work well under pressure - Strong decision-making skills and adaptability to changing situations - Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications - High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred
