Job Description - Field Service Technician

Kelly® is seeking a skilled technician to provide technical support for our premier client in Kent, Ohio as a Field Service Technician!

This is a great opportunity to travel nationally and internationally, working alongside a supportive team and receiving extensive training on our products and equipment. Job Specifications:

  • Job Type: Full-time

  • Location: Kent, Ohio

  • Pay Rate : - Hourly wage based on experience with opportunities for overtime pay and bonuses

  • Shift: 1st shift - Flexible, with the possibility of working from home once training is completed

As a Field Service Technician, you will:

  • Provide on and off-site technical support for our equipment, including plastic pelletizing systems and polymer pump and filtration systems.

  • Independently travel to customer locations, serving as the primary technical representative.

  • Interact with customers daily to provide solutions to maintenance, installation, and repair issues.

  • Conduct yearly follow-up calls to ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Participate in customer visits to support equipment installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair activities.

  • Provide training to customers at our facilities and their locations.

  • Collect customer feedback to facilitate continuous improvement opportunities.

  • Collaborate with various teams to develop customer-focused solutions.

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent education, with additional technical skills being a plus.

  • A strong mechanical aptitude.

  • Technical training in electrical systems, logic circuits, electric motors, gears/mechanical devices (desirable).

  • Multiple language skills (desirable).

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a field service role and using measuring/test equipment.

  • Experience in plastics processing or rotational molding (highly desirable).

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong organizational skills, efficiency, and problem-solving abilities.

  • The ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

  • A commitment to customer satisfaction and a strong team player mindset.
