Job Description - Remote Healthcare Enrollment CSR

  • Handles customer service inquiries and problems via the telephone, recording consistent problem areas.
  • May respond to e-mail inquiries.
  • Customer service is the primary function.
  • Calls are basic and routine.
  • Uses computerized system for tracking, information gathering, and/or troubleshooting.
  • May respond to customer inquiries by referring them to published materials, secondary sources, or more senior staff.
  • Communicates routine information in a clear and accurate way with internal and external contacts
  • Answer incoming calls from consumers including the general public, prospective enrollees and people assisting enrollees or acting on their behalf in accordance with all performance standards, policy and procedures, and protocols including but not limited to the confidentiality and privacy policies.
  • Track and document all inquiries using the applicable systems.
  • Complete associated tasks according to the established guidelines.


Education and Experience

  • HS diploma or equivalent
  • 6 months- 2 years of relevant experience.
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Previous experience as a call center agent and/or in healthcare enrollment highly preferred
  • Adaptability to remote work environments and technologies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in using computer systems and software.
  • Basic troubleshooting skills.
  • Familiarity with healthcare terminology (preferred).
  • Multi-tasking and organizational skills.
  • Active listening and empathy.
  • Ability to follow guidelines and protocols.
Equipment Requirements
  • Desktop or laptop - Chromebooks are not allowed
  • Wired headset and microphone with a USB Gen 2 or newer connection
  • Internet Connectivity:  Wired internet connection from computer to router or modem
    • Download – 20 Mbps minimum
    • Upload – 5 Mbps minimum


Work Environment: 
The position is 100% remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home.

Training Hours:

  • 9:30am-6:00pm EST, M-F (Day 1-7)
  • 9:30am-5:30pm EST M-F (Day 8-15); 

Work Hours After Training: 

9:30AM - 6:00PM EST; M-F; Must be cleared to leave by supervisor- must be flexible to remain in que after 6PM until cleared

Must be able to successfully pass a comprehensive background investigation.
