DESCRIPTION :

Duties: Drive the Pre-Provision Net Revenue ( PPNR ) forecasting analytics. Work with business experts in risk and finance to ensure model calibration is appropriate to enhance forecasting accuracy. Lead emerging analytics that feeds into the forecast and support the Model Analytics lead in performing ad-hoc analysis to support decision making. Develop estimation frameworks and associated components for Cards P&A. Develop models relying on statistical/quantitative analysis, and communicate the findings to stakeholders, including senior managers within the firm. Perform independent model/Analytical solution development and innovation. Identify and execute on innovation opportunities to positively influence the quality of models produced by lines-of-business for high impact deliverables.

QUALIFICATIONS :

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Financial Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, Mathematics, Physics, or related field of study plus 6 years of experience in the job offered or as Quant Analyst, Qualitative Model Reviewer, Financial Analyst, Business Analyst, Software Engineer, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Financial Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, Mathematics, Physics, or related field of study plus 4 years of experience in the job offered or as Quant Analyst, Qualitative Model Reviewer, Financial Analyst, Business Analyst, Software Engineer, or related occupation.

Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: Python; Finance/Risk functions in a large bank; Analytics products/solutions/platform, including forecasting tools and financial analytics tools; Statistical modelling; Machine learning techniques, including decision tree, regression and Principal Component Analysis ( PCA ); Financial analysis in financial services industry; Risk analysis in financial services industry; and data analysis using Python.

Job Location: 201 N Walnut St., Wilmington, DE 19801. Telecommuting permitted up to 40% of the week.
