Job Description - Support Specialist

The Support Specialist at Laboratory Corp. of America in Los Angeles, California, is a full-time associate level position that requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role. We are seeking motivated and energetic individuals who possess strong adaptability and cooperation skills.


Responsibilities: 1. Provide first-line support to internal stakeholders, including troubleshooting technical issues and escalating complex problems to the appropriate teams. 2. Assist with software and hardware installations, upgrades, and maintenance. 3. Manage user accounts and permissions within the organization's systems. 4. Coordinate with vendors and external service providers to ensure timely resolution of issues. 5. Develop and maintain documentation for support processes and procedures. 6. Assist in the training of end-users on new technologies and systems. 7. Participate in testing and quality assurance activities for new software releases.


Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field preferred. 2. Strong technical knowledge of computer systems, networks, and software applications. 3. Excellent communication and customer service skills. 4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 5. Proven track record of solving complex technical problems. 6. Experience with help desk support tools and ticketing systems. 7. Knowledge of ITIL best practices is a plus.
