Job Description - Scheduler

Looking to be apart of a great team and make a difference in someone's life?

Home Instead is seeking a Scheduler who is expected to perform a variety of duties in the coordination of scheduling services for clients. Scheduler helps to staff all client shifts, staff any last minute caregiver call offs, staff new client with on going caregivers. Scheduler will learn and maintain client and caregiver schedules.

The ideal candidate for this Scheduler position should enjoy multi-tasking, be organized, pay attention to detail, able to prioritize and look ahead.

Hours: Monday through Friday 8am-4:30pm (40 hours/wk)

Qualifications:

  • 6 months to One-year experience of scheduling
  • Ability to work with a computerized scheduling system, WellSky/ClearCare experience a plus
  • Proficient working with Microsoft Office products
  • Excellent customer service skills with ability to interact with a diverse population
  • Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills!
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment

Primary Responsibilities:

· Answer incoming calls in a friendly, professional and knowledgeable manner.

· Create and maintain client and Care Pro schedules with an emphasis on creating high quality matches and the development of extraordinary relationships.

· Monitor, mediate, and log all client and Care Pro activity utilizing the software system (WellSky).

· Follow up with all client and Care Pro issues to ensure their problems are resolved.

· Enter and maintain accurate client and Care Pro records in the software system.

· Follow up and communicate Care Pro and client issues to ensure problems are resolved.

· Recognize and capture opportunities to increase service hours to enhance and/or increase quality care.

· Maintain Care Pro overtime to less than 150 hours per month

· Field new client inquiries over the phone in a knowledgeable manner, enter the information into the software system and work with team to communicate and prepare for the Care Consultation.

· Demonstrate open and effective communication with the franchise owner, colleagues, Care Pros, clients and family members.

· Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
