Job Description - Security Welcome Center

Security Welcome Center Location Rapid City, SD : Overall Responsibilities of the Welcome Center Associate:
  • The Welcome Center Associate will provide service to guests in a professional and gracious manner. He/She will focus on creating a warm and welcoming environment for guests.
  • Meets or exceeds Member service expectations.
  • Works well with other team members.
  • Adheres to Hart Ranch Camping Resort Employee Handbook and Employee Safety Manual.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
The Welcome Center Associate will:
  • Establish a professional and supportive “first contact” for people entering Hart Ranch.
  • Exhibit excellent listening skills.
  • Listen to and understand requests, respond with appropriate actions and provide accurate information.
  • Perform light physical activity
  • Have the ability to work with diverse group of people
  • Manage a variety of tasks
  • Deliver a high-value experience to our members, ensuring that services are provided in a quality manner at all times.
  • Provides accurate information on activities and programs to members and participants. Must have the ability to convey enthusiasm and basic knowledge of all program areas to members and participants as well as ability to direct Members and Visitors to local attractions.
  • Work on special projects within the department as assigned.
  • Remain calm and alert, especially during emergency situations and/or heavy Resort activity.
This position profile identifies the key responsibilities and qualifications for performance. It cannot encompass all specific job tasks that an employee may be required to perform. The employee is required to follow and perform any other job-related instructions and duties as may be reasonably assigned by his/her supervisor.

Minimum of high school diploma. Must be a motivated self-starter, outgoing personality, friendly and able to problem solve on the spot. Must be proficient with computers, tablets, cell phone and the ability to utilize Word and Excel programs. Ability to lift 20 pounds. Frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must be able to work all shifts, weekends, holidays & special events as needed. Minimum 32 Hrs a week required.
