We manage our social and environmental impacts globally, and drive solutions that enable our customers, businesses, and the world to become more sustainable. The Sustainability Measurement & Abatement Technology team builds technical solutions to track, record, and forecast Amazon's WW impact on the Environment (i.e., Carbon, Water, Waste, etc.). This includes calculating past and current impacts and future abatement plans, ensuring credibility through standards and validations, and highlighting non-obvious opportunities for Amazon’s global business teams. We are looking for a Senior Product Manager (Technical) who is passionate about both product management and environmental sustainability. In this role, you will own building, prioritizing, and delivering the technical roadmap to support measuring and improving Amazon's global environmental footprint. You will work with experts throughout the company to identify technical products to improve speed, quality, and usability of Amazon's Scope 1 and Scope 2 usage data and abatement activities. Key job responsibilities
- Work on a variety of challenging problems that have to potential to significantly impact sustainability objectives within and outside of Amazon
- Collaborate with groups of experts and cross-functional colleagues in an agile environment
- Define specific product solutions to address gaps in operational decisions and reporting across the entire product footprint
- Work with business leaders, scientists, and economists to translate business and functional requirements into concrete deliverables, including the design, development, testing, and deployment of highly scalable, distributed services
- Establish and own prioritization of mechanisms to mitigate identified sustainability impact hotspots

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree
- 6+ years of technical product or program management experience
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
- Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight
