Responsibilities
- Field incoming service scheduling calls
- Schedule service appointments and recalls via phone and internet
- Accurately quote services and explain the basics of what the service entails
- Actively listen and problem solve guest concerns
- Respond to online service requests and questions, promptly and accurately
- Make outgoing guest calls for appointment and other reminders
- Fill in duties as required, such as assisting in the service drive
- Required to learn about manufacturer products, automobiles, and specific computer applications
- Follow all safety and security procedures
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- One year of experience in an automotive service department is a plus
- Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience required
- Exceptional communication skills and experience dealing with complex issues and guest concerns
- Integrity and honesty are absolute requirements
- Highly professional appearance and demeanor
- High levels of guest service and organizational skills are top priorities
- Ability to type and utilize all functions of a computer and various operating programs
- Efficiency using Microsoft Suite Programs such as: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Valid Driver's License and good driving record
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and subsequent random drug screens
