Job description:

Jim Coleman Jaguar/Land Rover stores are part of a fast growing Jim Coleman Automotive Group, which includes (2) Nissan Stores, Infiniti, Cadillac, Toyota, Honda, Jaguar, Land Rover. We are a local leader in automotive retail and we are looking to add qualified professionals to our team. Jim Coleman Automotive is a company that offers a team environment, great benefits and ongoing training and support for its employees. The Service Manager will strive to provide highly satisfactory profit margins and customer satisfaction. Accomplish objectives using the proper service procedures, inventory control levels, staffing, security, pricing, merchandising, displaying, and advertising.

Responsibilities:

  • Forecast goals and objectives for the department and strive to accomplish set goals and guidelines
  • Hire, train, motivate, counsel, coach, mentor, and monitor the performance of all service department staff, and obtain the appropriate certification levels.
  • Develop and maintain an aggressive service dept. program to produce profit
  • Work in partnership with other Service Managers/Director/GM/GSM/Automotive Personnel to ensure departments Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI/SPSI) goals are achieved at an exceptionally high level of performance.

Qualifications:

  • 4- 10 years of professional experience in an automotive service managerial role or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Luxury Brand experience preferred but not required
  • Experience with Reynolds and Reynolds and/or ADP/CDK
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, write routine reports and correspondence, and speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts interest, commissions, proportions, percentages etc.
  • Ability to define, research and solve problems
  • Self-Starter with proven ability to seek out new ways to build opportunities for the dealership and customer satisfaction
  • High level of initiative and ability to work in a team
  • Basic MS Office knowledge; computer software, internet proficiency and general math computation skills
