Service Support Specialist - Indianola, PA



SERVICE SUPPORT SPECIALIST – Indianola, PA

PURPOSE

This position requires a high level of expertise, product knowledge and customer support experience in support of the Bayer Radiology Field Service organization. Candidate will facilitate effective resolution of customer issues with a sense of urgency. They will utilize systems to accurately track and support all service team activities. They will also perform advanced research that will be used to resolve customer issues, develop management reports, manage recall/field corrective actions, and supply data leading to process improvements. Candidate must possess the ability to work independently as well as within teams. May be asked to provide support to new employees (e.g. Service Support Associate role). This position has a Hybrid work model with a minimum of 2 days a week in the Indianola, PA office location. The candidate must live in the Pittsburgh, PA area and can commit to being in the office as required.



YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work Order processing;
  • Customer credits and disputes;
  • Manage and maintain updates to equipment records;
  • Project support, cross functional teamwork;
  • Informatics License Requests;
  • Support Field Corrective Actions;
  • Ability to assist in Service Support Training;
  • Assist as process owner with training documentation as needed;
  • Assist in delivering training to staff as required to perform job duties;
  • Utilize SAP and CRM Systems to professionally handle customer/field calls, and requests via phone, CRM, email and web;
  • Provide dispatch service to customers as well as manage Dispatch console for the field;
  • Normal work hours are 8:30AM – 5:00 PM but may be required to work alternate shifts between 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM on occasion.


WHO YOU ARE

Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:



REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associates Degree in business or technical discipline with 2 years of overall experience in areas such as call centers, customer relations/facing or relevant experience OR a Bachelor Degree in business or technical discipline with 1 year of overall experience;
  • Advanced problem solving skills, demonstrated experience in dealing with difficult inquiries and Customer issues with little supervision;
  • This position requires a willingness to learn, excellent inter- personal, organizational, written and oral communication skills;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office product suite;
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment;
  • Working knowledge of CRM systems;
  • Demonstrated ability to follow specific guidelines & procedures.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Working knowledge of SAP ERP system;
  • Working knowledge of Service CRM systems;
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced environment.
