Job Summary

For those interested in Shipping and Receiving Associate role, then this is the perfect job for y ou.   This position participates in the Shipping and Receiving operations at the location to ensure safe, quality and timely services to its internal and external customers.

Job Description

• Participates in Area safety, ergonomic, and housekeeping
• Participates in Continuous Improvement - Area 5S
• Interacts with customers and accepts daily deliveries
• Maintains electronic and manual shipping and receiving documents
• Delivers samples to the production laboratories several times per day
• Participates in the long term storage of client samples and determination of final disposition
• Communicates directly our local leadership team
• Performs all routine shipping and receiving tasks as needed, including proper packaging and labeling and storage of supplies and samples.

Skills Required

• 2 years of minimum previous experience
• Ability to implement safe handling procedures for hazardous materials.
• Effective time management skills, organized and ability to exceed in a fast paced environment.
• Must have a valid driver’s license (CA DMV Class C)
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs with the help of coworkers
• Must be able to climb ladders

Education/Training/Certifications

• Highschool Diploma or GED.

Additional Requirements

• SAP or related experience required
• Excel knowledge

Pay Rate/Salary

• $24 per hour
