PRIMARY FUNCTION: The Service Wash/Shuttle Driver is responsible for cleaning customer vehicles after they have been through the Service Department. They are also responsible for operating the shuttle services for Service customers to and from the dealership as necessary. The other responsibilities include helping maintain the Customer Lounge, helping with shop cleanliness and ensuring customers are satisfied with their experience in the Service Department.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION/DUTIES:
• Perform an exterior wash of all customer vehicles that receive work in the Service Department.
• Inspect vehicles for stains, debris and damage before returning the vehicle to the customer, and report any damage to the Service Manager immediately.
• Test batteries of customer vehicles as needed.
• Assist with shop clean-up and deliveries when needed .
• Drives and picks guests up to and from the dealership in a timely manner.
• Ensures guests are picked up at scheduled time.
• Maintains constant communication with the dispatch team.
• Assists in moving disabled vehicles in or around the service department.
• Helps maintain a professional appearance of the sales and service departments and the courtesy van.
• Secures the company vehicle on premises, usually inside the shop at the end of the day.
• Assists in all areas of the Service and Parts department, as needed.
• Must follow and ensure passengers follow all company safety policies and practices.
• Maintains professional appearance.
• Maintains high ethical standards.
• Assist Technicians in the Service Department as needed.

MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE/EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
• High school Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to handle machinery safely.
• Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles.
• Demonstrated customer service skills.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:
• Extended periods of standing.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
• Must be able to be outdoors for up to 8 hours per day.
