TITLE : Software Engineer

LOCATION : Mount Laurel, NJ

CLEARANCE REQUIRED : Active DoD Secret security clearance

EMPLOYMENT TYPE : Full-time, On-site

POSITION SUMMARY

Modern Government Solutions (MGS) is seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software systems within our Radar and Threat Simulator division.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Must possess an active DoD Secret security clearance.
• B.S/M.S. Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
• 3-10 years of experience related software development experience, specifically C/C++.
• Experience working with Embedded and/or Real Time systems, specifically DoD sensor equipment.
• Experience working in Linux and Windows environments.

PREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong math background with strong analytical skills.
• Experience with Radar Systems.
• Experience working with the following: Qt Creator, Visual Studio, Git, GitLab, GitHub, Google Test, CxxTest, xUnit, CMake.
• Experience with DoD Lifecycle development and/or Agile methodologies.
• Software Development experience with continuous integration, test-driven development.
