Our Instrument and Enterprise Services team delivers a single source for integrated laboratory instrument service, support and supply management. What You Will Do:

The Service Contract Administrator supports the success of the IES organization by prioritizing and implementing those administrative tasks that support service contract revenue growth. Day to day responsibilities of this position will be wide-ranging and will include, but are not limited to, contract renewal quotation, extended warranty processing, and booking of customer purchase orders in the ERP system. Excellent communication, problem-solving and attention to detail required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and send Contract Renewal quotations to the Contract Sales team in alignment with departmental SLA's.
  • Collaborate with Contract Sales to revise quotations as needed to match customer needs.
  • Accept customer purchase orders, review for compliance with company policy and process according to departmental work instructions.
  • Interface and support additional divisional partners including Accounts Receivable, Customer Support and Field Service Engineers to ensure internal and external customer needs are met.
  • Ability to identify specific problems, determine desired end result, and the necessary tasks needed to solve the problems.
  • Represent the company in a positive, professional manner in all dealings with Thermo Fisher Scientific employees, customers and representatives. Assures the highest level of customer satisfaction with Thermo Fisher Scientific products and services
Education
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
Experience
  • 2+ years Contract Support Administration / Sales Operations or similar
  • Proficiency in SAP preferred

  • Self-directed with a passion to deliver an outstanding customer experience
  • Is curious, inquisitive, innovative; excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize projects to meet planned objectives
