Job Description - Supervisor, Credit & Collections (Fraud) - Start Immediately

Job Summary

Supervises the daily activities of a designated team to ensure outstanding credit, collection, fraud, or vendor operations management and a smooth efficient workflow. Responds to internal and external customer inquiries. Supports the development of collection Representatives and leads' individual also team efficiency as well as performance. Coordinates and supervises the day-to-day activities of business support, technical or production staff. Sets priorities for the team and checks work at regular intervals.

The position is 100% Virtual / Remote / Work from Home.

Core Responsibilities

  • Supervises a team of on average 10, but up to 18 representatives (non-exempt, hourly), establishes performance goals, provides focus and performance reviews as well as supports team also individual employee development. 

  • Acts as change champion and leads change in communicating important business initiatives as well as diffuses opposition from a tenured team.

  • Communicates information to manager and staff to promote service excellence as well as individual personal growth. 

  • Promotes positive employee relations by encouraging a team environment of open communication, approachability, also fair and consistent treatment of all employees within a workforce dedicated to diversity as well as advocacy of the company. 

  • Provides mentoring as well as feedback to team members by encouraging trust, support, motivation, and accountability.

  • Creates coaching plans to enhance performance and supports the team by promoting employee development.

  • Communicates messages to team in a positive manner that conveys connection to the business strategy, customers, and employees.

  • Supports team members in problem solving as well as addresses called out internal and external customer issues in a responsive, timely, also accurate manner to achieve maximum customer satisfaction. 

  • Celebrates and reinforces employee successes through recognition as well as promotion.

  • Facilitates routine huddles with the team focused on improving the employee experience and the customer experience.

  • Develops action plans as appropriate based on employee feedback.

  • Partners with manager to develop effective cross-training programs for personal development and to enhance efficiencies. 

  • Hires, trains, and develops staff to ensure outstanding customer service as well as operational goals are achieved.

  • Assists in the development and implementation of operational strategy.

  • Establishes and monitors clearly defined key performance indicators for all team personnel.

  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance. 

  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

  • Flexibility in handling multiple initiatives as department grows.

  • Experience in fraud is a plus.
