Job Description - Technical Support Associate

Pay Rate: $20-24/HR

Schedule: Mon-Fri (flexible - an 8 hour shift between 8AM-6PM)

Location : Portsmouth, NH

Duration: Temp to Hire

What’s a typical day as a Technical Support Associate? You’ll be:

• Providing fast, effective, and professional support to customers and installers via phone and email.

• Diagnosing and resolving product issues.

• Managing support requests and following support processes to resolve level 1 support issues.

• Escalating complex issues to level 2 support.

• Accurately processing and recording call transactions using support ticketing software.

• Tracking tickets through the support process until completion.

• Creating orders for replacement parts and tracking returns.

• Aligning performance to assigned KPI goals.

• Performing additional duties as assigned.

• Have knowledge of customer service principles and practices.

• Are willing to learn new skills, software, hardware, and repair processes.

• Hold a high school diploma or equivalent (required).

• Have experience in customer service/support, communications, or the electronics field
