2024-2025 Teacher of Elementary Education (4th, 5th and 6th Grade) at Dr. Leroy McCloud Elementary School QUALIFICATIONS:

Valid New Jersey Certificate in Elementary Education
Demonstrate knowledge of effective teaching methods and developmentally appropriate classroom activities
Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of child growth and development, effective instructional strategies, classroom management, learning assessments and diagnosis, and content specific teaching responsibility on the elementary level
Demonstrate the ability to use digital equipment for word processing, data management, student information systems, information retrieval, visual and audio presentations, communications, telecommunications, etc.
Ability to maintain a positive learning environment
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, using proper grammar and vocabulary.
Exhibit a personality that demonstrates enthusiasm and interpersonal skills to relate well with students, staff, administration, parents and the community.
