Assistant Brewer

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Assistant Brewer to join our team. The Assistant Brewer will work closely with our Head Brewer and other team members to ensure the production of high-quality craft beer. Responsibilities:

• Assist in all aspects of the brewing process, including milling, mashing, boiling, fermenting, conditioning, and packaging.
• Operate brewing equipment and machinery efficiently and safely.
• Monitor and maintain quality control standards throughout the brewing process.
• Assist with recipe development and experimentation under the guidance of the Head Brewer.
• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure a clean and organized brewery environment.
• Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during production.
• Represent the brewery at events, tastings, and festivals as needed.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working in a brewery or similar production environment preferred.
• Strong passion for craft beer and a desire to learn and grow in the brewing industry.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality beer.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects (up to 160 pounds) and perform repetitive tasks.
• Basic understanding of brewing principles and processes is a plus.
• Formal brewing education or certification (e.g., brewing certificate, Cicerone certification) is a plus but not required.
