Bilingual Receptionist

Openwork is currently assisting Harris County in their search to fill a BILINGUAL RECEPTIONIST job working in DOWNTOWN Houston.

We are seeking a professional with 4+ YEARS EXPERIENCE working the front desk of a busy office while utilizing their SPANISH SPEAKING SKILLS.

Responsibilities for Bilingual Receptionist

• Answer and direct phone calls in a polite and friendly manner
• Welcome visitors in a warm and friendly manner, and answer any questions visitors have
• Maintain reception area and all common areas in a clean and tidy manner at all times
• Operate standard office equipment on a regular basis, including a document scanner, a copy machine, and a computer
• Keep detailed and accurate records of visitor requests and of calls received
• Receive deliveries; sort and distribute incoming mail
• Take inventory of supplies and restock as needed
• Maintain the general office filing system

Qualifications for Bilingual Receptionist

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
• 4+ years of relevant experience in a front desk reception environment
• Proficient in Spanish
• Adhere to the Harris County Dress Code Policy
• Strong phone skills in Spanish and English
• Comfortable multi-tasking and prioritizing tasks without guidance
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Punctual with strong attendance history

Pay Rate: $16.98 an hour

Paid Weekly by Direct Deposit

Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Downtown work location
