Job Description - Clinical Fellow Speech and Language Pathologist:

Job summary
Exciting CF opportunity to work with a team of supportive SLPs. Working with elementary, high school, and transitional students with complex communication needs and significant behavioral challenges. Offering functional communication, oral motor, and feeding/swallowing assessment.
Job seniority: mid-to-senior level
Responsibilities
• Develop and implement treatment programs focused on resolving an identified condition or diminishing its functional impact. • Assist senior level staff with departmental and program functions. • Maintain documentation consistent with Institute and Department expectations and relevant accreditation agencies. • Participate in intra-disciplinary and interdisciplinary activities relative to patient care and professional training. • Participate in departmental activities and outreach activities in the community. • Demonstrate competence across all age groups due to the diversity of the children and families served. • Focus on clinical care for neonate, pediatric, and adolescent populations, as well as some adults with disabilities.
Requirements
• Must possess and maintain Speech-Language Pathologist – Limited License through the Maryland Board of Audiologists, Hearing Aid Dispensers and Speech Language Pathologists. • Successful completion of a Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology. • Additional coursework or training in pediatric feeding/swallowing or communication disorders is beneficial. • Full COVID vaccination or documentation of medical and/or religious exemption(s) approval.
