Job Description:
As a Nutty Scientists Instructor, you'll bring STEAM education to life in a fun, theatrical, and engaging way. You will lead group sessions that blend science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics to inspire and educate children. Each session is designed to be not just educational, but also a thrilling adventure for the students. This is an incredible opportunity to have a lasting impact on children by making their learning experiences memorable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct and facilitate group STEAM activities for children from kindergarten through middle school at various locations (schools, libraries, parties, etc.).
• Create a positive, enthusiastic, and supportive learning environment.
• Follow a well-structured curriculum provided by Nutty Scientist which includes a script and training on customized activities.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in tutoring, childcare, sports coaching, or related educational fields.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with children and peers.
• Responsible, punctual, and committed to contributing positively to the team.
• Ability to motivate and educate students in a way that makes learning fun.
• Experience in working with children is essential.
• A background in theater, performing arts, or a similar field is highly beneficial but not mandatory.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract, Temporary

Pay: $22.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 25 per week
