Director of Field Education

Requirements:

• MSW degree from accredited social work program required, Ph.D. or DSW optional.
• Two (2) years post graduate professional experience in social work practice, and teaching experience preferred.

Roles/responsibilities

• Provide leadership to field education
• Teach assigned course load
• Maintenance of field manual, field assessments and other material pertaining to field education
• Identify and development of field sites
• Monitoring and assessments of students, faculty liaisons, and field sites
• Provide training of field instructors, onsite supervisors and agency field liaison, and faculty liaisons
• Provide relevant academic instruction pertaining field education
• Provide student advisement
• Engage in other assignments of the Social Work Program and the University
