Position Hours: 5:45pm – 6:00am (NIGHT SHIFT)

Pay: $24.07/hour, up to 3% quarterly bonus & $1,500 sign on bonus!

McCain Food’s facility in Wisconsin Rapids/Plover, Wisconsin is a large-scale food processing plant, employing approximately 500 employees. This site specializes in the production of french fries and mashed potatoes and produces roughly 2 million pounds of french fries a day!  

Position Summary :

As the Dock Assistant you will have the opportunity to support the plant’s production of potato product.  You will assist the Dock Operators with a variety of job functions, tasks and job duties! You will operate all related dock equipment in a safe and efficient manner and contribute to the success of our team!

Key Responsibilities:

Maintains and operates skidsteer to remove debris from dock, silt beds, and ramps.

General clean up in dock area.

Monitors dock area for line disruptions.

Maintains forklift and completes forklift operator daily checklist.

Assist in factory clean up.

Understands the concepts and participates in the techniques of the quality process.

Qualifications:

• Ability to read and understand and communicate safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to solve practical problems.
• Ability to comprehend and communicate in Basic English and interact with all levels of the organization. Must be able to enter data into a computer.
• Require initiative and independence.

Physical Demand:

Constant: Walking, bending at the waist, squatting, kneeling, and twisting at the neck and waist. Walking up and down a flight of stairs.
