At CMCS (Cardinal McCloskey Community Services), our mission is to protect, empower and promote independence for at-risk children and families and those with developmental disabilities through quality community based services.

As an Education Specialista person with teaching experience in Early Childhood Education, will demonstrate the ability and interest to develop and implement an innovative Education Program for the Family Child Care Network Staff and Child Care Providers. Knowledge of recent development in the Field of Early Childhood Education, particularly as it relates to the proper education of children in low-income families. The Family Child Care Education Specialist must demonstrate respect for the homes, and varied cultural backgrounds of these families and the children the Program serves.

Requirements:

• Caring, upbeat personality.
• BA in Early Childhood Education, study plan candidates will be considered.
• Experience working with Infant and Toddlers.
• Bilingual (Spanish) a plus.

Additional Requirements

• Daily access to reliable transportation to Bronx, NY. Flexible with assigned work location(s).
• Ability to pass and maintain acceptable record related to the mandated criminal background check process.
