Children's Emergency Services (CES) is a primary entry point for C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital, a verified Level One Pediatric Trauma Center and U.S. News & World Report nationally ranked children’s hospital providing care to children and young adults ages 0-20 years. CES nurses partner with board certified pediatric emergency medicine faculty and pediatric residents to provide expert family-centered care for over 34,000 patients each year presenting with injuries and illnesses across the wide range of acuity from minor to complex critical care.

Salary & Nursing Framework Level:
This UMPNC RN posting is posted under the Role-Specific Advancement Model (RSAM) as:
ENC- COMPETENT.
Actual RSAM LEVEL and salary will be determined at time of hire.
RSAM levels range from ENC-COMPETENT to ENC-EXPERT TO ENC-MASTERY. TO ENC- MASTERY PLUS Required qualifications must be met by the candidate in order to be interviewed and considered for the position. Posting may be filled after the initial 5-day posting period.

All new employees will be expected to float to a designated unit(s) in times of low census.
This position is covered under the collective bargaining agreement between the U-M and the Michigan Nurses Association and the U-M Professional Nurse Council union, which contains and settles all matters with respect to wages, benefits, hours and other terms and conditions of employment.
