Responsibilities:
- Create and implement lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students, including those with autism, to promote effective learning.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively to ensure a conducive learning environment for all students.
- Utilize instruction strategies that engage students and promote their understanding and skills of the material.
- Support the development of children by incorporating activities that foster childhood development and growth.
- Utilize experience working with students to provide individualized support and guidance to help each student reach their full potential.
Skills:
- Practicing Catholic in full communion with the teachings of the Church
- Experience working with students, particularly those with autism or special needs
- Strong math skills to assist students with numerical concepts
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with students, parents, and colleagues
- Knowledge of early childhood development principles and practices
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children
- Ability to follow directions and work well as part of a team
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques
