Responsibilities

The Department of Development Event Coordinator will plan and execute small-scale benefactor events and on-campus benefactor visits, as well as provide project assistance and back-up for large Development special events, including some off campus. The incumbent will also assist the Executive Director-Events on workflow management and special projects as needed. Travel required as needed. Position is hybrid and expectation is to be on campus on an as-needed basis to support planning and execution of benefactor events.

This vacancy is not eligible for sponsorship/ we will not sponsor or transfer visas for this position. Also, Mayo Clinic DOES NOT participate in the F-1 STEM OPT extension program.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or an associate’s degree plus four years relevant experience in event management. Prior event coordination experience required. Ideal candidate has familiarity with Excel, Microsoft Products, database management and is comfortable working independently. Past experience creating processes and support systems to manage events successfully is required. . Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills are required. Must have a high level of attention to detail and be a self-motivated/self-starter. Individual must be an energetic individual who conducts themselves in a highly professional manner in a team setting.

$58,448.00 – $78,915.20/ year. Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended.
