Job Summary
The Floor Ambassador is responsible for maintaining the pantry facilities; in addition to the food/beverage distribution from pantry, pantry product inventory, and assisting in events.
Duties and responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensure guests always receive friendly and courteous service
Handles and maintain pantry operations which include:
Stocking and cleaning pantry facilities
Logs and maintains equipment record keeping
Handles Pantry inventory
Communicating with Events Manager on supply ordering
Maintains clean and safe work environment
Other duties as assigned
Assists in catering services and client events
Assembles and delivers all food and supplies for catered functions to their scheduled locations
Arranges food, beverage, and service items according to standards and Event Managers directives
Handles Event breakdown: thoroughly cleans location after event is completed, returns food and beverages, serving equipment and utensils to the pantry facility
Always follows safety and sanitation policy and procedures
Follows and maintains all Department of Health Food Protection rules & regulations
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Qualifications include:
High School Diploma/GED is required
Food Protection Certification is required
Events & Catering experience is preferred
1-2 years of customer service experience is required
Ability to lift/move furniture, boxes, and pantry equipment
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to multi-task; managing multiple work assignments
