The Faculty Education and Continuing Medical Education (CME) Lead is pivotal in developing and managing education programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of healthcare professionals. This role requires expertise in curriculum development, accreditation standards, and program operations. Key responsibilities include designing engaging curricula, planning, and scheduling learning activities, managing databases, tracking compliance, and ensuring accreditation standards are met. Essential skills for this position include strong project management, attention to detail, effective communication, and proficiency with educational technologies and databases. By maintaining high-quality education programs, the Faculty Education/CME Lead supports professional development and contributes to the advancement of the healthcare industry. In this role, the Faculty Education and CME Lead leverages their in-depth understanding of professional health education programs and policies to oversee the administration and operation of these programs. Responsibilities encompass organizing teaching and learning activities, developing and managing curricula, scheduling learners, maintaining detailed databases, and tracking compliance to ensure programs meet accreditation standards. Additionally, this role is actively involved in strategizing, planning, and implementing significant program enhancements that are complex and wide-ranging, ensuring continuous improvement and excellence in educational offerings for healthcare professionals.
