Our Mercy Gilbert Medical Center, Environmental Services Department is seeking a Senior Housekeeper to join our team!

The housekeeper will provide excellent cleaning service to the assigned area using standard operating procedures.

 

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the cleaning of patient rooms, as well as the cleaning of non-patient environmental.
• Responsible for patient and guest satisfaction, safety, and comfort as it pertains to a clean environment.
• Must collaborate with others, organize well, accomplish tasks, solve problems and communicate effectively.
• Adheres to proper cleaning policy/ procedures when cleaning all areas as listed on assignment sheet and completes all assignments on a daily basis
• Clean and disinfects surfaces throughout facility.
• Removes and applies safe handling methods to trash, medical waste, sharps, and soiled linens.
• Ensures proper usage of cleaning and disinfectant chemicals.

Preferred:

• Six months related experience
• HS Diploma or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
