Our client is seeking an Industrial Engineer who has experience with monitoring and keeping track of key performance metrics such as time, labor, and capacity planning. Those who have worked in assembly manufacturing setting is highly desired!
Salary: $80K
Manage projects in development of manufacturing methods and processes, facility related energy and cost savings, and plant engineering activities.
Troubleshoot errors with routings, costing issues and research solutions to resolve problems.
Solid understanding of time studies and capacity planning.
Investigate, establish, and implement requirements for methods of production: time studies; capacity planning; manpower planning; routings; part structures.
Determine best utilization of equipment, facilities, material flow, and personnel.
Review engineering design changes and recommend modifications to minimize cost and maximize performance.
Implement and maintain safety standards and procedures in compliance with OSHA regulations.
Maintain hourly labor tracking and pay increase policy for the same
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of Bachelor Degree in Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Possess 1+ years related experience.
Possess strong attention to detail skills.
Possess ability to adapt to changes.
Possess proficiency in one or more software programs including Power Bi and Microsoft Office products plus knowledge of manufacturing and project management software.
