Job Title - Kofax Lead

The primary responsibilities or this position are to manage the development and operational support of computer applications. Your duties are to oversee staff, assist with training of new employees, provide application enhancement, control the release process for applications, and offer ongoing support for internal departments and external users. You collaborate with other teams and vendors to implement changes, updates, and troubleshoot issues to find solutions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise-level applications to meet organizational needs.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand application requirements and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
• Manage a team of application developers and specialists, providing guidance and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
• Oversee the entire application lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.
• Evaluate and select appropriate technologies to support application development and integration efforts.
• Ensure applications comply with security and compliance standards, implementing measures to safeguard sensitive data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate applications seamlessly into existing business processes.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to drive continuous improvement in application development.
• Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring efficient and effective use of applications.

Minimum Requirements

Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field

Experience: Minimum 10 years experience in application development, with 5 years of leadership experience

Skills

• Proven experience in application management, with a track record of successful project delivery.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a team of application professionals.
• In-depth knowledge of application development methodologies, technologies, and best practices.
• Experience with project management, including planning, execution, and resource management.
• Familiarity with cloud-based technologies and their integration into application architectures.
• Excellent communication skills, both technical and non-technical, to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.
• Ability to adapt to a dynamic and evolving technology landscape.
• Should have a very good understanding of document imaging, OCR using Kofax Capture
• Expertise in writing custom scripts, modules and Workflow agents in Kofax.
• Experience in working with different component of Document management systems such as Capture
• Strong knowledge of .NET frameworks
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
• Should have experience in working onsite –offshore model
