Librarian -- Remote

As an Online Librarian, you will play a pivotal role in delivering essential online services to students, with a special focus on catering to the educational needs of our veterinary technology students. We're seeking an individual with a deep passion for education, a thorough understanding of library resources and information literacy, and a firm dedication to serving our students' educational journey. Responsibilities: Offer online reference and research assistance to students, faculty, and staff, ensuring prompt and effective support.
Develop and deliver engaging online instructional materials and workshops, aimed at enhancing information literacy skills, research techniques, and familiarity with library resources.
Requirements: Possession of a Master's degree in Library Science or a related field.
Proficiency in archives management, resource description access, and adherence to archival standards.
Demonstrated competency in utilizing databases, digital resources, and library management systems.
Outstanding customer service skills, with the ability to cater to a diverse range of patrons.
Exceptional organizational abilities, enabling effective multitasking and task management.
Sound knowledge of information management principles and practices.
Previous experience in budgeting and project management is preferred but not mandatory.
