Nurse Educator

The Nurse Educator provides orientation and continuing education programs for our nursing staff. The Educator will determine ongoing educational needs for all levels of staff in collaboration with the Nurse Managers. He/She will also participate in committees, task forces, and meetings that contribute to the attainment of the Palliative Care Program goals and objectives.
Required experience:
-Minimum 5 years experience in a specialty and demonstrates ability for formal education in a classroom or clinical settings.

-Pain Management experience required.
-Critical Care experience required

Education requirement:
-Graduate of an accreditedSchool of Nursing.
-Master's Degree required.
-CLC or IBCLC required or must be willing to obtain within first year of employment.
Certification/Licensure:
-Current registration in New York State as an RN, Diploma and Licensure required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software. Must demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
Salary Range: $40,000
