Job Details ChristianaCare is currently seeking a per diem Occupational Therapist to work with a dynamic team. This position will primarily be on weekends, with weekday hours available. The selected candidate may work caring for patients in acute care at Christiana Hospital or on the acute Rehab Unit located at Wilmington Hospital. At Christiana Hospital, patients are seen in various settings including bedside, multiple intensive cares and small gyms. At Wilmington Hospital, care of patients is in the acute rehab unit located at Wilmington Hospital. In this setting, patients are seen primarily in our well-equipped, state of the art therapy gym, and our Transitional Living Apartment with access to a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom and living room/bedroom set up. This exciting position allows the selected candidate to see a large variety of patient populations including Neuro, Trauma, Cardiac, and General Debility while working with a supportive team of OTs. The OT experience at ChristianaCare offers a strong team approach and frequent interdisciplinary interaction. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS : • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Minimum of a BS or MS in Occupational Therapy
• At least one year of clinical experience
• Licensure or license eligibility in the State of Delaware as an Occupational Therapist
• CPR Certification
• AOTA preferred Post End Date
