Job Description - Open Rank Faculty Position in the College of Dental Medicine

The Columbia University College of Dental Medicine and New York-Presbyterian Hospital invites applications for a full-time faculty position to serve as the Predoctoral Director of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and as Director of the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Clinic.

Reporting to the Section Chair of Hospital Dentistry and Director the Division of Oral and maxillofacial Surgery, the incumbent's responsibilities will include predoctoral curriculum development and supervision of residents, dental students, and staff in the Oral and maxillofacial surgery clinic.  Development of an intramural faculty practice is expected and will be encouraged.

Salary Range: $250,000 - $325,000

Requirements include a DDS or DMD degree from an ADA-accredited dental school, completion of an accredited oral and maxillofacial surgery training program, eligibility for licensure in dentistry and anesthesia in New York State, and American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery certification or eligibility.  Foreign dental school graduates will be considered, but they must be eligible for New York State licensure in dentistry and general anesthesia.
