This Operations Manager will supervise all daily operational processes and resources (employee and supply) using a lean philosophy to ensure efficiency, consistent improvement and lean financial operation. Responsible for the supervision and direction of registration, insurance verification, data collection and front-end processing of cash collection. Acts as a patient advocate for patient concerns. Monitors waiting times for patients, communicating consistently to them. Supports and resolves physicians' operational needs while in session
Job Responsibilities
Monitor the registration process of clerical associates
Ensure that staff is collecting all necessary authorizations and referrals. Administer departmental deferral policy
Responsible for daily cash collections and ensuring that payments are collected at point of service, secured, reconciled, posted and deposited in a timely manner
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the department to resolve employee conflict and ensure that customer satisfaction is kept
Education/ Skills
H.S Diploma/GED required
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
3 years work experience
Proficient computer skills, specifically EPIC or related EHR
