What you can expect from this role

• Supports the Legal Department's Provider Relations and Litigation team

• Performs assignments requiring knowledge and expertise regarding the legal system and substantive and procedural law.
• Provides direct assistance to the professional legal staff in the preparation and interpretation of legal documents and filings.
• Researches, prepares, and analyzes various legal documents, communications, filings, databases, and reports.
• Prepares drafts of contracts related to physician arrangements.
• A paralegal in this role will work on complex contracts that require understanding of a complex set of regulations.

Qualifications

Education: Associate degree, Paralegal Certificate or 2 years of experience in lieu of degree
