Job Description - Physical Therapist/Pelvic

Physical Therapist - Pelvic Specialist 

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist who is a pelvic health specialist to join our team. As a pelvic health specialist, your expertise in pelvic health will be invaluable in providing specialized care to patients.

Joining our team, you will have state-of-the-art tools and best in class continuing education. There is also opportunities for career advancement. 

We have a very patient centered approach, which allows our therapist quality time with their patient. Each session is 45-minute treatment block, with a caseload of 10 – 12 patients per day. Pride ourselves in work-life-balance. Our hours are Monday – Friday 8am to 5pm no weekends. Looking to build a long-term relationship with our staff.

Location : Bluffton, SC


Responsibilities


  • Assess, evaluate, and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with pelvic health disorders.
  • Provide hands-on interventions, such as manual therapy and therapeutic exercises, to address pelvic health issues.
  • Educate patients on proper techniques for pelvic floor muscle strengthening and relaxation exercises.
  • Monitor and document patient progress throughout the course of treatment.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
  • Stay updated with new research and advancements in the field of pelvic health.
  • Maintain a safe clinical environment and adhere to infection control protocols.

Requirements


  • Graduate from CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program.
  • CAPP – Pelvic Certification (preferred)
  • Valid/Current state licensure as a physical therapist for the state of South Carolina.
  • CPR certification
  • Experience with creating and implementing outpatient balance and vestibular rehabilitation-setting treatment plans.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively/efficiently in complete autonomy.
  • Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system knowledge, basic PC skills using MS Office, Database software.
