The Program Coordinator plays a crucial role in providing comprehensive administrative support for the Family Preservation Department. The Program Coordinator supports the team in their efforts to help strengthen families, prevent foster care placement, and support efforts for reunification and achieve permanency when applicable. They will supervise the Parent Mentor and provide oversight of the Incredible Years parenting classes and CCOC’s partnership with the CNY Diaper Bank. Promptly respond to parents and referral sources regarding the specifics of available programs, Incredible Years parenting courses, and support groups. Assist in confirming documentation is in compliance with contractual guidelines, including but not limited to case notes, intakes, closings, and assessments. Maintain and update databases for reporting purposes. Assist in collecting and analyzing accurate assessment data outcomes. Participate in file audits as needed. Assist in preparing and mailing SPR notification letters. Schedule meetings in conjunction with agency reception to ensure conference room availability. Work with Program Director in creating team meeting agendas, attend team meetings, take attendance, record and distribute meeting notes. Complete inventory checks and monthly office supply orders for multiple locations. Update resources and brochures; update staff and program directories. Perform outreach activities as necessary. Attend webinars and trainings. Maintain Parent/Child resources, program tools, materials and supplies for the program. Maintain a clean and safe environment as appropriate. Maintain guidelines established by the funding sources and Catholic Charities policies and procedures. Perform other tasks and duties as assigned.
This Position Pays $24.00 Per Hour. This is a full time position, Monday- Friday, 35 Hours a Week.
Education and/or Experience Required at Entry: Bachelor’s Degree and 1 to 3 years relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Licenses/Certification/Clearances:
Skills/Abilities: Organized, detail oriented, and self-driven. Demonstrates the ability to complete projects accurately and on-time. Knowledge of computer systems, electronic databases, and computer operations, proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel, Customer service skills. Oral and written communication skills. Ability to operate office equipment: fax, copier. Customer service, creative problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
Working Conditions and Environment/Physical Demands: Mobility sufficient to drive to and participate in meetings and/or run errands to assist in the coordination of events at community facilities, which may not meet Federal accessibility standards for disabled individuals. Manual dexterity sufficient to work with children/adults in a challenging and active environment.
