About Us We're on the lookout for a dynamic and seasoned Senior Consultant in Education Policy to join our team. As a key player in our mission, you'll take the helm as Project Manager and Subject Matter Expert (SME), spearheading an internal audit of a school system's Department of Student Support Services. Join us in making a real difference in educational policy and practice! What You'll Do Lead a dedicated team in conducting a comprehensive internal audit of the Department of Student Support Services, focusing on identifying strengths and areas for improvement. Act as the primary liaison between our team and the client, fostering open communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle. Dive deep into current practices and processes within student support services, uncovering opportunities for enhancement and operational streamlining. Employ various assessment techniques, including process mapping and stakeholder interviews, to pinpoint pain points and enhance existing processes. Craft robust audit plans and methodologies, guiding the team towards achieving project objectives effectively. Collaborate closely with fellow team members and subject matter experts to drive continuous improvement and meet project milestones. Present detailed reports and recommendations to stakeholders, including senior management and client leadership. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Education, Public Administration, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred. Minimum of 5 years of project management experience. Deep expertise in education policy, regulatory compliance, and internal controls within the education sector. Proven track record of leading complex projects and cross-functional teams to successful outcomes. Experience in process improvement or change management, ideally within the education sector. Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with a knack for building strong relationships and influencing stakeholders. Strong analytical abilities, enabling you to derive actionable insights from data and trends.
