Senior Credit Officer

Join a growing community bank in Southeast Michigan. Bank Michigan is currently seeking qualified applicants for the position of Senior Credit Officer.

JOB SUMMARY

Provides competent credit analysis for commercial lending activities of the Bank's lending department and provide assistance in the administration of commercial borrowing accounts. Evaluates the financial condition of individuals and businesses applying for credit with Bank Michigan. Prepares spreadsheets, financial spreads, reports, summaries and opinions for Bank Michigan Officers on new, renewal and existing loans. Conducts loan file review. Provide administration to oversee the compliance of laws and regulations as they apply to the Bank. Evaluates the financial condition of individuals and businesses applying for credit with the Bank. Provides more in-depth analysis and is able to identify trends. Oversees, provides guidance/training and directs the work of the Credit Analysts.

Job Requirements:

Education/Certifications: Bachelor's Degree in business, accounting, economics, finance or equivalent combination of education/experience. Additional education/training in commercial credit analysis required .

Required Knowledge, Training and Experience:

Minimum of 4+ years of prior credit analysis (commercial lending) experience. Superior attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
